Celebrating Birthdays

Last week our sweet, little Claire turned 2.  Birthdays are always a special time for me because it is the one time throughout the year where I feel as though I can freeze such precious moments.  When Gabe turned one I decided I was going to make him a birthday book.  Ever since then I have made little books for the kids celebrating their birthdays.  I don’t have time to scrapbook and I admit that I’m horrible at printing off  the “everday” pictures.  So, this makes up for it…at least a little bit. ;)I begin every book with a summary of that year followed by the birthday celebration.  The kids love looking through them…

Now you may ask, what books are you referring to.  Scroll to the bottom of this post and I will share some recommendations that I have used for our family.

The birthday girl…

Some coloring sheets for the little ones…

Happy birthday to you…

The little ones decorated their own cupcake…

My Publisher: This is my favorite for our family books.  I use them for birthdays and vacations.  The quality of the books are great.  The system is easy to download and use.  And…the best part is that they are always offering discounts.  They currently have a 50% discount on books for January.  This is a great time to work on those  holiday books or birthday books.  I know I will be…

A few other ideas:  Shutterfly, Blurb, Snapfish & Kodak.  Obviously, there are many to choose from, but the experiences I’ve had with My Publisher have been well worth it.  Do you have any other suggestions?  Feel free to share in the comment section.  Happy book-making!
