I am so excited to share these images with you!!! I know I pushed a lot of you outside your comfort zone with this challenge. I am rather anal about being in front of the camera…hate my profile, want it to be from a certain angle, etc. I do better from behind the camera.
However, the majority of you responded with thoughts such as, “This was so much fun!” “This made me realize how few images I have with me and my kids…” “My son/daughter had so much fun getting their picture taken with mommy!” The list goes on and on. First goal accomplished…
Honestly, I wanted you all to think outside of the box…think beyond today. I wanted you to think about years down the road when the only thing that truly matters is the moment. You will see below that these pictures were taken in your every day…yay! That was another goal…I wanted you to capture your life..regardless of how uncooperative you thought your little ones were. I love looking back through old pictures of my brothers and I growing up. I love seeing the furniture we had, the clothes mom put us in ;), our toys, expressions, everything…it takes you beyond the faces…it allows you to relive the moment. Second goal accomplished…
And, for those of you who chose to not send one in. I hope that seeing these will still challenge you to grab your little ones and capture a moment with them…right now! I promise you won’t regret it!!! Keep reading for more contests such as these…
